Improves how you rank in top search engines
when prospects search for your businesses
services.
Organic Social Posts: Text, image, or
video-based content to post on your social
media page to promote a product or offer.
Instream Video Ads: Video advertisements
played before video content on YouTube.
Video Advertisement Creation: Design and
production of video ads to captivate and
market to viewers.
Pay Per Click (PPC): Non-video advertising
that appears on advertising networks such as
the Google Advertising network .

ELIGIBILITY

Kingston Economic Development (KEDCO) is currently managing the Canadian Digital Adoption Grant designed to support businesses in promoting their products and services.

KEDCO will reimburse approved applicants up to $2400 upon completion of an online project designed to improve sales in their business.

The grant is available to all businesses EXCEPT:

🛑 Corporate chains, franchises, or registered
charities
🛑 Multi-level marketing companies
🛑 Brokerage firms, such as real estate agents,
investment advisors, insurance agents, etc
🛑 Wholesale or distribution businesses

YOUR BUSINESS IS ELIGIBLE IF…
1️⃣ It is registered or incorporated, for-profit,
and located in Kingston, Napanee, Gananoque
and the surrounding area.

BUSINESS VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS:
• Articles of incorporation OR
• Business Registration documents

2️⃣It is registered or incorporated, for-profit,
and located in Kingston, Napanee, Gananoque
and the surrounding area.

REVENUE VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS:
• Notice of Assessments or
• Employee T4

PLEASE NOTE: When you have a CDAP grant application in progress, please wait for your grant approval before starting your project.

PROJECT STRUCTURE

An eligible CDAP project must contain Order,
Contact or E-Commerce Elements, and a
Traffic Improvement Strategy. It may also
include some Web Advisory Services.

This part of the project COULD include elements which encourage and initiate customer engagement, or lead capture
resulting in new sales for the business.
It can also include elements which enable
payment, automate shipping choices or
calculate taxes during a transaction.

TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT STRATEGY

Traffic Improvement Strategy brings qualified
and interested visitors to your website. Traffic
can be “optimized” so it brings more qualified
visitors to a website.

WEB ADVISORY SERVICES

Web advisory services provide expert
advice and guidance in implementing
E-commerce and traffic to increase sales.

Advisory services can include competitive
research, strategic planning, website
design and development, Search Engine
Optimization (SEO), content management,
and performance analysis.

TIMELINES

APPLICATION TIMELINE

1. We will confirm your grant eligibility
2. We meet to talk about your project
3. We come up with a project strategy
4. You will be provided with a written
proposal with project details
5. We assist with the submission of your
CDAP application
6. Approval can take as little as an hour,
or as long as two weeks

PROJECT TIMELINE

1. Upon approval, we send you an invoice
for a 50% project deposit
2. If you use Zero Noise Marketing for your
project, you can expect it to be
completed within one to four weeks
3. Upon acceptance of the work done, we
send you a final invoice
4. We will provide a receipt for the project
work completed which you can remit to
KEDCO for reimbursement.

PLEASE NOTE: KEDCO requires projects to be completed within 60 days of the date your grant is approved.
